Hanuman Jayanti 2022 : Date, Muhurat and Best Worship Time

Hanuman Jayanti 2022 will take place on Saturday, April 16th. Hanuman Jayanti is one of India's most important festivals; hence it is observed with immense enthusiasm. Because Lord Hanuman was born at sunrise, prayers are said, and Maruti or Mahavira is worshiped before morning. Following that, they visit Lord Hanuman's temple to appease Anjaneya (Bajrangi) and express a wish to the Lord.

Lord Hanuman's or Bajrangbali's Birth

Hanuman, also known as Mahavira, is the son of Apsara Anjana. She was born on Earth in the shape of a female vanara (monkey) due to a curse. She needed to give birth to an Avatar (incarnation) of Lord Shiva to be free of condemnation. Anjana and Kesari (Hanuman's father) worshiped Lord Shiva with complete devotion and penance (Tapasya).

Lord Shiva was pleased by their commitment and respect for the god. As a result, he bestowed the boon upon them, and Hanuman was born to them. As a result, Mahavira is also known as a Shiva avatar.
