Shahid Kapoor, the young, attractive Bollywood actor, was born on 25 February 1981. His father, is the well-known Bollywood actor Pankaj Kapoor. Shahid came to the lime-light in 2006, with the top-grossing family drama, Vivah.
Shahid Kapoor broke many hearts when he got married to Mira Rajput in 2015. The marriage was a big surprise for the film industry as it was an arranged one and that too with a girl almost 12 years younger. The icing on the ‘cake full of surprises’ was that Mira was not even one of the film fraternities.
But that’s a Pisces for you! A highly emotional man. After being in a committed relationship with Kareena Kapoor and having had some serious and some not-so-serious affairs with the likes of Amrita Rao, Vidya Balan, Priyanka Chopra, he finally decided that the girls from the film fraternity were not for him. His ‘intuition’ about Mira being the right girl for him, has worked well for both, as earlier Mira was hesitant about going ahead with the relationship.

According to Shahid, he was looking for someone stable who would give him a ‘solid home’ because his parents separated when he was quite young. The ‘Pisces’ in him cooks up surprises and treats for his lady-love. He understands the need for being caring. On Valentines this year, when he could not be near Mira, the Piscean creativity set to work and he ordered for a heart-shaped pizza for her, much to her delight.
Mira, in turn, understands her Piscean partner. Shahid, like a typical Pisces, can slip into his own imaginary world when he wants to escape the harsh realities of life. Shahid has a doting wife and that helps him deal with his heebie-jeebies. Being overtly sensitive, Shahid had had a tough time as he grew up without a father figure. He leaned heavily on his maternal grandfather for comfort.
Shahid is a typical doting Piscean father and according to Mira, was all excited about the birth of Misha. He enjoys sharing her pictures on the social media with captions like,”Stars at her feet, because you are a sky full of stars”.
Pisces’ are highly creative and the career of an actor is most suited for Shahid. The entertainment and media industry is a platform where his creativity can be utilised to the maximum. Not wanting to be permanently labelled as a chocolate lover boy, Shahid shook off that impression of his by trying his hand at different characters. The ‘Ishk Vishk’ boy, soon moved on to films like ‘Haider’ and ‘Udta Punjab’ which had challenging roles to portray.
Although Shahid has had a wobbly career graph, his commitment to work has always pulled him out of every failed project.
