ICC World Cup 2015 - Day 1 Astrology Predictions

Drum roll! ICC World Cup 2015 set to kick-start on 14th Feb, 2015. This year’s 14th February indeed promises a lot more excitement that just Valentine’s Day. ICC World Cup 2015 – The 11th Edition of Cricket World Cup will take place in both Australia and New Zealand. As a fact, the World Cup has returned Down Under after 23 years with the last edition held in 1992. The quadrennial extravaganza will be hosted in Melbourne, Australia and Christchurch, New Zealand. ICC World Cup 2015 will see India defending the crown they re-claimed in 2011 on home soil.
Game 1 is scheduled to be played between New Zealand and Sri Lanka at Hagley Oval, Christchurch. Sri Lanka will be led by Angelo Matthews whereas; Brendon McCullum will lead New Zealand. In Game 2 - which will be held on the same day in Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne, Australia and England will play against each other under the leadership of Michael Clarke and Eoin Morgan respectively.
By looking at the birth charts of captains of the playing teams, it is possible to predict the result of the match according to Vedic Astrology. Let’s have a look at what astroYogi astrologers predict for the first two matches of ICC World Cup 2015.

Match 1 – Sri Lanka vs. New Zealand
Sri Lanka’s captain Angelo Matthews was born on 2nd June, 1987 in Colombo. His moon sign is Cancer and ruling planet is Moon. On the day of the match, Moon is in the fifth house of Matthews’ birth chart which is a favourable situation. But as Moon is debilitated, its positive effects may be nullified.
It is expected that under Matthews’ guidance, Sri Lankan team will perform well but weak bowling may make the team to lose. However, it won’t be too easy for Kiwis to win the match.
Brendon McCullum, captain of New Zealand cricket team, was born on 27th September, 1981 in Dunedin, New Zealand. His Moon sign is Leo and ruling planet is Sun. On the day of the match, ruling planet Sun will be in the second house of Brendon’s birth chart which will keep him determined and in high spirits. With Moon present in the fourth house, he will be able to channel positive vibes among the team members.

As per astroYogi astrologers, Game 1 looks more in the favour of New Zealand.

Match 2 – England vs. Australia
England cricket team’s captain Eoin Morgan was born on 10th September, 1986 in Dublin, Ireland. As per Vedic Astrology, Morgan’s Moon sign is Scorpio and ruling Planet is Mars.
On 14th February, due to the presence of ruling planet Mars in the fifth house of his birth chart, Morgan will be full of energy. As Moon will be present in Scorpio, he will need to work hard with his team to turn the match in their favour. It is predicted that England’s bowling would be much better than their batting.
Captain of Australian cricket team, Michael Clarke was born on 2nd April, 1981 in Liverpool. His Moon sign is Aquarius and Ruling Planet is Saturn. As Saturn will be transiting into the tenth house – Scorpio on the day of the match, Clarke will be impacted positively. He will be able to lead his team towards victory. As Moon will also be present in the tenth house, Clarke will feel much more responsible and will give it all to win this match.

As per astroYogi astrologers, both teams look strong but stars are favouring Australia more. It is more likely that Australia will win its first match on home soil.
