While Student Of The Year 1 had marked Alia Bhatt, Siddhart Malhotra and Varun Dhawan’s Bollywood debuts, Student Of The Year 2, marks the debut of two actresses, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday on the silver screen.
With the former actors becoming superstars in just a few years, the audience is waiting to see how the newcomers fare in the sequel of the same film. While the former has had the slight advantage of being a protege of the film world, one of the later (Tara Sutaria) will have to prove her mettle. The former film also catapulted a non-filmy background newcomer, Sidharth Malhotra, into fame, proving that the onus of becoming a star primarily and in the end, solely depends on the actor.

Daughter of Bollywood actor, Chunky Pandey, Ananya, born on 29 March, is an Aries. 2019 will see growth and appreciation for the Aries career. Ananya may get ample opportunities for more work after the producers and directors see the kind of work she has put up in SOTY 2.
Born on 19 November, Tara Sutaria is a Scorpio. 2019 will be giving new opportunities for the Scorpions who want to start a new career. The months of May and June indicate some displeasure at the workplace, and maybe Tara will need time to decide on her weakness and strengths after seeing how the audience responds to her acting in SOTY 2.
With two newcomers in the film, Student of the Year 2, the box office collection may yet fall on the strong shoulders of the Bollywood hunk, Tiger Shroff. Born on 2 March, Tiger is a creative Pisces. If Tiger feels that he did not get the accolades in proportion to the amount of work he put into the film, he should just wait till June. He will be flooded with appreciation and will then be raring to go again.
Alia Bhatt’s special appearance in ‘The Hook Up Song’, which failed to make an impact when it was posted on Twitter, has made movie prediction buffs feel that SOTY 2 may not get the eyeballs that SOTY 1 got.
Comparison between the two films will be inevitable, but the audience should give the actors their due and respect them for their originality.
