A “Bal Gopal” Idol In The House Can Help Childless Couples

Celebrity Vaastu and Feng Shui consultant, Dr. Rupa Batra discusses how the placement of a Bal Gopal idol can increase your chances of conceiving a baby if you have been trying rather unsuccessfully. Read on to find out more –

All couples dream of having a child one day. For some this dream materializes naturally and easily but for some it becomes a challenge in life. For those couples who long for a sweet child in their life each single day, each waiting moment turns into months and years. Here’s how Vaastu can help them get a step closer to their dreams.

First of all, get an idol of Lord Krishna in his ‘Baal Gopal’ form and get the throne, flute, clothes and crown along with it. Decide a day that suits you and your family members. Conduct a puja and place the idol in the north-east portion of the house. North-east is the most sacred place of any area and it is also known as ‘Ishaan’.

From the minute you place the idol, make a mental note that your house is now the house of Baal Gopal and not your house. Rather than getting it written on any name plate, this fact should be there in your mind and your heart.

We know that it hurts when you see other people’s kids playing and running around. Instead of sending any sort of negative energy in the form of jealousy etc., give lots of good wishes to the child and to the couple too.

Make it a point to conduct daily rituals for the idol of Baal Gopal as is done for a new born child! Like giving a proper bath, feeding sweets, butter etc. should be done in silverware for lord Krishna’s idol.

Get a Tulsi plant and place it near the puja ghar. Tulsi has immense power to absorb negative energies.

On Janmashtami, all the family members should organize a puja in the house and a proper jhula in which the idol of Bal Gopal is fondly placed and the cradle is rocked by every family member in the house.

All the materials like dhoop, diya, agarbatti etc used for Bal Gopal’s puja should be placed neatly in an earthen pot rather than throwing it away casually anywhere.

Slippers should not be allowed in the area that leads to the puja ghar.

Different set of clothes should be set aside for different days and occasions and they should be carefully and neatly washed and used.

Putting pictures of Lord Krishna in the bedroom is a big no-no. The right place is the puja ghar.

Whenever your purchase any metal, precious metals like ornaments etc., you need to first offer it to your Laddu Gopal before wearing it. Same goes for clothes.

Here food is very important. Food without onion and garlic can be offered and should be offered in separate clean utensils before serving it to family members. This is applicable for any sort of sweets/ chocolate/ biscuit as well.

Last but not the least, while travelling for long durations, take a neat handbag and place the idol of your Krishna that you carry with yourself so you can continue with your rituals rather than leaving it at home unattended for days at end.

Actually the whole point is that when you start conducting these rituals you actually start seeing God as your child, you take care of Laddu Gopal as your child so in a way you start experiencing the bond between a parent and a child and that void is filled.
