Barack Obama - A Perfect Feng Shui Example

US President Barack H Obama, is due to arrive in India this weekend. He will be the first American leader ever to attend the Republic Day parade in India. His presence on Rajpath along with the Indian President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to bring worthwhile changes in planning and decisions which can and will mutually affect both the nations.

At this juncture when we would like to know more about the most awaited guest on the Republic Day parade, I would like to discuss how Barack Obama is a fine example of perfect feng shui.

Barack H. Obama is the 44th President of the United States. With a middle-class upbringing in a strong family; hard work and education his only artillery for getting ahead in life, he became the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review in his law school.

Obama makes messy decisions, systematic and simpler (No.1 feng shui rule is to de-clutter your surroundings in order to ease out your mind)

In order to gather maximum benefits of feng shui it is crucial to organize our minds and surroundings. According to various reports published in 2012 in various US journals an magazines, US President Barack Obama is very certain about how decision memos are delivered to his office.
The memos have three check-boxes at the bottom

  • Agree
  • Disagree
  • Let's discuss

This saves the commander in chief, of a lot of valuable time. Obviously the matters reaching his desk would be of utmost importance. But depending on the urgency, the checkboxes impose simplicity and speed up the feedback loop. Rather than submitting an essay test for each problem, the president can opt for multiple choices.
Another way of clearing clutter from the mind is managing wardrobe which the US president has done wonderfully. He wears only two shades. That is Blue and Grey. According to him, he needs to make bigger decisions than these! What a way to clutter-free our minds.

Charity and helping the deprived is an excellent tool of attracting positive chi

President Barack Obama has donated $1.4 million from his Nobel Peace Prize in order to help students, veterans' families and survivors of Haiti's earthquake, among others.
Obama is donating a sum of $750,000 to six groups which help in education of the underprivileged. Fisher's House, which provides housing for families with loved ones at Veterans Administration hospitals, will receive $250,000. And the Bush-Clinton Haiti Fund, for which two former presidents are raising money to rebuild earthquake-ravaged Haiti, would receive $200,000.

"These organizations do extraordinary work in the United States and abroad helping students, veterans and countless others in need," Obama said in a statement. "I'm proud to support their work."

Obama's years of public service are based around his firm belief in the ability to gather and unite people around a politics of purpose. In the Illinois State Senate, he passed the first major ethics reform in 25 years, cut taxes for working families, and expanded health care for children and their parents. As a United States Senator, he reached across the aisle to pass groundbreaking lobbying reform, lock up the world's most dangerous weapons, and bring transparency to government by putting federal spending online.

Obama loves to keep himself fit (Feng shui rule to respect your physical self in order to bring an over-all harmony with your surroundings)

The president has a regular pickup basketball game with former pros and he hits his personal gym for about an hour every day—doing weights one day, cardio the next. The logic: the rest of his time will be more productive if he gets his workout time.
