  • On the day of Geeta Jayanti, you should wake up early, i.e., in the Brahmamuhurta, take a bath, and wear fresh and clean clothes. You should do Dhyana (meditation) and take Sankalpa (pledge) to perform the Puja sincerely. 
  • Clean the Puja room by sprinkling some Gangajal (water from the holy Ganges). 
  • Install the idol or picture of Lord Krishna on a chowki. 
  • After that, place the Bhagavad Geeta in front of Lord Krishna. 
  • Sprinkle Gangajal on Bhagavad Geeta. Then Tilak Bhagavad Geeta and Lord Krishna with Roli
  • Flowers should be offered to Lord Krishna and the Bhagavad Geeta. 
  • Offer Akshat, deep (lamp), incense sticks, and then perform the Aarti to conclude the Puja. Also, offer sweets to Lord Krishna.
  • After worshipping Lord Krishna, worship the Bhagavad Geeta. Then lift the Bhagavad Geeta by hand and touch it on your forehead. It is considered sacred if you read the Geeta or listen to it on this day. So read or listen to the sacred scripture. Once read, keep the Bhagavad Geeta in its place with the utmost respect.

On the pious occasion of Geeta Jayanti, the verses of Geeta are recited in temples as well. So, you can visit a temple and listen to the recitation. The devotees who observe fast on Ekadashi shouldn’t eat grains like rice, barley, pulses, or wheat.
