Every year for nine days, i.e., from the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of the Ashwina month, the auspicious festival of Navratri begins during which the nine forms of Goddess Durga is worshipped with tremendous spiritual fervour. The Shardiya Navratri will start from 17th October 2020 and end on 25th October 2020. Due to Adhik Maas, the Shardiya Navratri 2020 is beginning with a delay of a month. Adhik Maas is coming to an end on 16th October, and the Navratri will start from the next day, i.e., 17th October from Shukla Paksha's Pratipada.

17th October, Saturday - Sarvarthasiddhi Yoga
18th October, Sunday - Tripushkar and Sarvarthasiddhi Yoga
19th October, Monday - Sarvarthasiddhi Yoga, Ravi Yoga
20th October, Tuesday - Saubhagya and Shobhan Yoga
21st October, Wednesday - Ravi Yoga
22nd October, Thursday - Sukarma and Prajapati Yoga
23rd October, Friday - Dhriti and Anand Yoga
24th October, Saturday - Sarvarthasiddhi Yoga
25th October, Sunday - Ravi Yoga
After 58 years, this year's Navratri festival is bringing with itself special nine days like no other. This time on Navratri, an auspicious coincidence is occurring. According to the astrological calculations by Astroyogi, both the planets Saturn and Jupiter will be present in their own zodiac signs after 58 years, i.e., Saturn will be in its zodiac sign Capricorn, and Jupiter will be in Sagittarius. As you might know, every year on Navratri, Goddess Durga comes to the earth to grace us with her presence in a different Vahan or vehicle. According to the Devi Bhagwat Purana, the vehicle by which Goddess Durga comes to the earth is considered as a sign of future events. If Navratri begins on Monday or Sunday, the Goddess arrives on an elephant. If Navratri begins on Saturday or Tuesday, she comes riding a horse. The Goddess arrives in a doli or palanquin if Navratri begins on a Thursday and Friday. If Navratri falls on a Wednesday, the Goddess comes in a boat.
As Shardiya Navratri 2020 is starting from Saturday, Goddess Durga is coming to the earth on a horse. According to the Devi Bhagwat Purana, riding on a horse indicates a possibility of war with neighbouring countries, thunderstorms, and political upheaval and internal disturbances in some states.
Furthermore, Goddess Durga will depart on an elephant, which is a sign of heavy rainfall in the coming year. This time around, Durganavami and Dussehra are falling on the same day.
