Indian politician Amit Shah has made quite a name for himself. He is the current President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Chairperson of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), member of the Rajya Sabha, and trusted advisor and confidant to the current Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Shah started his political career in 1983 as a leader for the student wing of the RSS; the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. He joined BJP in 1986, and became an activist for BJP's youth wing, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) in 1987.
Shah has held a number of positions in the state government, especially that of the Chief Minister of Gujarat. In 1997, Shah got a BJP ticket for the Gujarat Legislative Assembly by-election in Sarkhej. Shah then became an MLA in February 1997 after winning the by-election. He managed the BJP's campaign in India's largest and most politically crucial state, Uttar Pradesh, during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Under his leadership, the BJP and its allies registered their best ever performance, by winning 73 seats out of 80. This helped Shah rise to national proéminence, and got him appointed as the party's national president in July 2014.
Other than these prominent milestones for the politician, Shah has also helped the party achieve success in the Legislative Assembly elections in Maharashtra, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand and Assam in 2016. He even rose victorious in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, and made BJP’s debut in Manipur a success.
Shah previously campaigned for Lal Krishna Advani in Gandhinagar during the 1991 Lok Sabha elections. However, now Gujarat BJP workers want Shah to contest from Gandhinagar for parliamentary seat. The upcoming 2019 general elections will require Shah to be fully prepared and brainstorm all scenarios and keep his magic alive in order to mark yet another successful run of the BJP and hopefully another turn of power of the party for the next 5 years.
Birth chart of Amit Shah suggests that his moon sign is Aries, ascendant of which is Virgo. Currently, the lord of ascendant Mercury sits with Sun which is creating Budha Aditya Yog for Shah and will provide favourable results for him. Virgos are very clever and smart and they perform really well in the field of politics as they are born with wisdom and leadership. Rahu sits in the workhouse which is providing strong suit for Shah to lead his party towards victory.
Rahu in its fundamental triangular sign and presence of Moon in the 8th house might trouble Shah with his health and he might suffer minor setbacks. There is Rahu’s Mahadasha along with Moon’s Antardasha which suggests that Shah should be a little careful with his health.
But on his career front, the movements of Rahu are indicating huge success for him. Formation of Neech Bhang Yog will also push his luck to success and will maintain pressure over opposition. The upcoming 2019 elections might be Shah’s yet another successful campaign.
